1.  Contracting
  • Agenda and commitment
  • Expectations of all parties – coachee, coach, manager, and HR

2.  Assessment and Data Gathering

  • Personal History, Coaching Goals, Values Inventory
  • Performance Reviews
  • 360 Degree Feedback (instrument or interviews)
  • Other Assessments, e.g., MBTI, Enneagram, DISC

3.  Goal Setting and Planning

  • Professional development plan – the 1 or 2 areas to develop that would have the greatest impact.
  • Action plan – specific actions to practice skill, identify success measures

4.  Implementation and Monitoring

  • One-on-one coaching sessions, bi-monthly, in between check-ins
  • Observe (shadow) coachee
  • Measure progress
